July 4th hike

Ammon was in serious need of a nap :)

We wanted to do something on the fourth of July that would get us out of the scortching heat so we took the kids on a hike up Adam's canyon in Kaysville. I don't remember that hike being so steep :) Audrey, Isaac and Allie didn't quite make it half way so Tara and I took them to the park while John, Steve, Kylie and Ammon went to the top. I don't know how John did it, but he carried Ammon and his tank the entire way (luckily we had a half-sized tank!) Ammon is kind of tricky with altitude so John had to keep adjusting the oxygen level as they climbed. He was up to a liter and a half by the time they reached the top! Kylie did great and didn't complain the whole time and Steve fell in the river :) We all got rained on and it felt so good!
