I hate catch up posts

I have too many pictures to post and not enough time to post them properly :( I have forgotten everything funny and probably most everything significant :)

We have had a CRAZY month. I don't even remember how everything started or how it came about (this time), but we finally made the leap - we put our house up for sale.  We have these talks about moving once or twice a year, but it never really made sense until now.  Logistically our house is formatted all wrong for our growing family, but emotionally - well, I like it here :)

But its not about me - its about what is good for the ENTIRE family, no?  I just wish I knew exactly what that was :)  As John puts it - we are flying by the seat of our pants.  We have no idea where we are going or how we are going to get there. The original plan was to move to a more rural area - we even had one picked out! but Kylie tested into a pretty cool school program and the temptation to stay in the area and let her try it out is GREAT. I think it would be so good for her! Well, I hope it would be. If not - we do have a plan B, but it is on the back burner for now.

So we have been busy getting the house into a more "presentable' state. Task number one - new carpet.

This is a post in and of itself.  I have loathed this stinking carpet for SEVEN YEARS.  And then I came to peace with it.  Just recently really.  I humbled myself into the depths of humility and decided that me and this carpet - well we were going to get along because it was very possible that we were going to be spending eternity together.  And then the realtor advised us to burn it (Well, not in so many words - maybe he just said new carpet would enhance the value of the house - or something like that).

I felt sick walking into the carpet place and dropping a LOAD of cash at their feet. I HATE that part.  BUT the rewards are heavenly and oh so soft under my little feetsies :) Thanks Tyler or helping us move it out, Mom Speth for watching the kids so we could get it out, Mom and Dad Spencer for sitting in the house for hours waiting for the carpet guys to come, and Steve for helping me put the furniture back together while John was at work...

For better pics of the new cozy carpet check out our MLS listing:

So here's to not having a clue! New house - I hope I love you every bit as much as I love this one :)
