Its almost done!

I'm feeling very thankful for people who have put up with us during the whole house building adventure and even more for those who have been truly excited with us and have allowed us to drone on and on about it :)  I guess everybody needs something exciting to look forward to.  This one will be the "Christmas-like" blessing almost nine months in the making :) It gives us something to look forward to, to be happy and excited about, to share with each other, and to work toward.  In a few short weeks we will be moving in! And then the excitement will be over? Like Christmas morning? Well that will be sad.

But I'm sure we will find something else to look forward to - or a goal to work toward and then we will move on and bore you all with something new :)

However, for now, I am really starting to get excited!  I'm really not anxious to leave my parents home - the truth is it has been a blessing to be able to live here.  Not only because it allowed us to meet some financial goals and do a few extra things with the house, but also because I am extremely independent and stubborn and it allowed me to work on overcoming that a bit.  Honestly, I thought I would be terribly annoyed at having someone look over my shoulder all of the time, but I was wrong.  And I feel like it has allowed me to teach my children that other people are important too and that grandparents are to be respected.  This is not making much sense... I am just happy to have been able to spend this time with my parents.

Both John and my parents are so generous and accomodating and selfless and we have taken advantage of every last drop of their goodness.  And I am GRATEFUL.

What excites me the most is to be able to have an ORGANIZED place to put all of our stuff!  I have definitely learned that we don't need nearly as much stuff as we have; however, I'm tired of having to dig through those storage sheds to find it! So I am going to go through all of it - bit by bit- and put it all away exactly where I want it! YAY!!!!! And if I refuse your help, please don't be offended! Its nothing personal :) And I'm sure I will regret it - maybe.  On the other hand if you want to help us bring our things from the storage sheds to the house, well.... I would be nothing less than thankful :)

Here's to two to three weeks....!
