First, Allie quit tumbling. This has been six months (or more) coming and she finally did it. She CRIES every time I drop her off. Actually sometimes she cries when I drop her off for school as well, but tumbling is bad. I made her stick it out for a while because I know she likes tumbling and is always happy when I pick her up. I thought maybe she would just grow out of it. But she hasn't and she can't be in Kylie's class so I was going to have to drive Kaysville twice and wait in the van for an hour with Ammon and Madelyn (not as fun as it sounds). Anyway I found a cute teacher for her in our ward. I think she studied at BYU and in Europe somewhere, but I loved that it is in her basement because I thought maybe Allie would feel more comfortable there. So far so good :) She's loving it and I'm loving that she doesn't cry when I drop her off!
Second, we started framing the basement :) John's dad came down the first day and spent the entire day working on it. Since then John and my dad have been working like maniacs to finish...
