Christmas

This year Christmas was so much fun! We went up John's aunt's house on Christmas eve to hang out with his cousins, came home, acted out the Nativity story and then wrapped the girls (and grandpa) in their half of the basement :) On Christmas we stayed home all day - for the first time ever! I really do like going places on Christmas, but it was also such a nice break to have no where to go! We stayed in our PJs all day, face timed grandma Spencer who is still in Kansas with Steve and Tara's family, and PLAYED with the kids - it was relaxing and so much fun! John's family stopped by and ate dinner with us which was really nice and then we put the littles to bed and played some more :) We celebrated Christmas with John's family two days later when his brother and sister and their families were both in town. Its always nice to have family in town :) I think I liked Christmas so much more this year because we weren't rushed and we took time to really enjoy it. Plus spreading it out a little made it last longer! I'm having a little trouble getting pictures off of my new phone, so I'll have to post the pics from John's parent's house a little later...
