John's Birthday - Presents!

John went for a horseback ride on the morning of his birthday which gave the girls and I the perfect opportunity to decorate the house and get his presents ready! They each got $5-10 to spend on their dad so I took them to Walmart and let them buy whatever they wanted. Kylie knew what she was getting before we even got there - Life-Savers mints - John's favorite Sunday suit pocket treat! Allie took a little longer, but eventually settled on a tie (which she picked out herself and I have to say, she picked a nice one). They both made him a crafty card and picked out their wrapping paper from the stash in the basement. His boring wife could not decipher his indecisiveness this year and gave him a little bit of cash. I tried, I really did, but I couldn't keep up with his mind changes and eventually gave up. One of these years I will get him something he absolutely loves - that's the goal.
