Kylie's Surgery

I'm not the only one having all of the hospital fun this week :) Kylie was riding her scooter on Thursday and somehow her scooter fell and she fell on top of it with her mouth wide open. The entire handlebar went through the roof of her mouth. How on earth do you fall so perfectly with your mouth open that wide? I don't even know if I could get the whole handle bar that far in my mouth! She ended up having surgery the next morning so they could patch it up. I was super sad that I couldn't be there - it was really hard, but again that comforting feeling took over and everything turned out all right.

An IV just like mommy's! She was kind of weirded out when she saw mine last week so John didn't even show her that she had one in until they were about to take it out!

Wow, glad to see Kylie is doing well. Lilly is sitting here with me checking out your blog, pics and updates...she says to say to her "happy birthday to you" (I know its not now, but Lilly really wanted me to send that to you). :) She was sad to see Kylie's owie and that is her comfort saying I guess...maybe its an UNbirthday wish! :)
