The Heritage Days Parade and Us!

The kids got to be in their very first parade! Actually, me too. We signed up to put a float in the parade on behalf of the preschool. It turned out really cute! Justin and Tori Price were SUPER GRACIOUS and let us borrow a playhouse that Justin built for his construction company and it was perfect! It was so easy to decorate around it and I know our float wouldn't have looked nearly as good without it. My mom let us take all of her planters and Tara helped me make cute flowers for the sign and a mini banner with our website on it.

I had a hard time rounding up kids at first (mostly because I didn't want to bug anyone), but in the end we ended up with plenty and the sweetest family in our ward ALL volunteered to help - and they were a LOT of help! Sometimes I am blown away by people's generosity. I am so grateful for everyone who helped!

It looks fabulous! I hope it brings you lots of success with the preschool! I wish we were closer so I could sign my rascals up!

The girls and Alan had a great time. Thanks for letting them join you. I hope your preschool is successful. Evan will joining next year if you're still doing it. :)
