Ammon had an echo at the first of September. It went really well! Truthfully, Dr. P. looked a little baffled that the results were as good as they were. Instead of going back in three months we get to wait until five months from now! He just about dropped his jaw when I told him I would be having a baby that month and somehow convinced me into scheduling a fetal echo before I left. He is not concerned about HLHS because the probability of having another child with that defect are seriously slim (he said he's only seen it once before), but he wants to check valves and arteries and things just to be sure there aren't any minor abnormalities that need to be fixed. (Allie will be our only child who hasn't had a fetal echo.)
The same tech who did my fetal echos with Ammon did his echo. She was amazed at how good he looks and how big he is (for a heart kid, of course). It was fun to show her how well he is doing!
