2nd grade Hero Program

Last week Kylie's school had their Hero program. They talked about four heroes - George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., and Helen Keller. It was really good and Kylie even got to write her own part for the program! John and I helped her fine tune it a bit and she delivered it fabulously without whispering or mumbling! Yay!! There was one cue little 7-8 year old boy who had to memorize the Gettysberg Address!!! He said the ENTIRE thing - I was so impressed! I didn't get great pictures because the flash made them really dark and they were blurry without it so...
