Kylie's Baptism Day/ Madelyn's blessing Day

We scheduled Kylie's baptism and Madelyn's blessing for the same day. I thought it would be nice for them to be able to share something as special as those events and it was :) We tried so hard to help Kylie prepare - we talked, and talked, and TALKED about the significance of baptism and the covenants she was about to make so when the day came and I had to give a talk on baptism, I felt silly repeating the same information :)

John was able to perform both the blessing and the baptism and it was REALLY fun to watch that :) There's nothing cuter than a father getting all choked up about taking care of his daughters :) It was so fun for me to be able to help Kylie pick a dress, help plan the dinner, and all of the rest! What a GREAT day!

Out super talented friend Julie made these for her daughter's friends and gave Kylie one - she LOVES it!

I had a sad thought yesterday. I was thinking about a bunch of random things and it came to me that Kylie is almost half way done living with us. I almost started crying! I told the family about my thought during dinner and poor Allie started crying - she loves her sister so much!

I had so much fun catching up on your blog! I was laughing so hard at the post about Ammon and his stunts. Boys are a different breed! :) Also, I love the dress up days for school and the "big day" for your two girls. I wish we could've been there but you guys were in our thuoghts! (That was sweet of you to post the towel too! lol I'm glad she likes it!)
