Two months with Madelyn

Madelyn had her two month appointment with the pediatrician this week. She is healthy and growing perfectly. She is 23.5 inches long and weighs 11.8 lbs! It seems like the more kids I have, the easier it is. Well, its not necessarily easier to have four kids, but each infant is easier than the last as far as not getting any sleep and crying and such.... I think the only thing that is different is me - more patience and I am more relaxed :) I'm almost positive that is mostly the result of all of those years of babysitting...

I am really enjoying having Madelyn in our home and I think everyone else is too :) The kids are great with her! John has been away a little more, but is so helpful when he's home! I am so, so very thankful for that :) She recently started smiling when we interact with her and she LOVES to converse with us :) I can't wait to watch her grow, but I also kind of wish she would just stay this little forever!

I've been taking a lot of pictures with my phone lately so they are a little blurry...

Ammon really wanted me to sit down and watch a movie with him. As soon as I did he grabbed Madelyn's hand and held it :)
