Happy 4th Birthday Madelyn

Miss Madelyn turned four. She has seemed like she's four for a while now :) Madelyn is very sweet and very caring, spunky, moody, a bit of a liar, and sometimes she is VERY helpful. She is a FANTASTIC big sister, and always has a new best friend (usually daddy or maybe mommy or a sibling). Up until recently she as been a bit of a spitfire, but she is mellowing out quite a bit and starting to understand rules a lot better! She is a leader (bossy) and a nurturer to her core. She likes spicy food and sometimes even fish (??) She's a bit complicated, but wonderful.
Madelyn was convinced that she was going to have a friend party this year. She didn't really give me any choice. I might have disappointed her, but she also didn't really want anything for her birthday. Weird. And also, I am a sucker for a cute party! So we invited her friends over and sort of had little ballerina party. I decided to make tutu's the morning of her party and ended up finishing them while the girls played. Most of the details she requested were copied from her brother's party. The cake was - well, another failed attempt, but a bit better than the last failed attempt :) It was really fun to see Madelyn so happy. Happy Birthday Miss Madelyn!
