Ammon's cardiologist suggested we put him in the survivorship clinic. At first, I declined. Mostly because I didn't want them to do a bunch of invasive tests on him when there is nothing wrong. Also, because I figured it was just a way for them to study kids with heart problems, without actually conducting a study. John hates studies because there is usually a lot of bloodwork involved and Ammon is already poked enough :) But John took Ammon to his last appointment and surprisingly, he was all for it. So we spent a few days in January at Primary Children's testing all of his major systems. Next week we meet with Dr. Menon to discuss. Most of them were surprised how heathy he is - thats nice to hear :) Ammon is so easy going. He just went along with everything and didn't really ask any questions about why they were doing all of the tests. I'll try to update after our appointment.
