Flour Tag

For FHE this week we went to the new West Point Park for a BBQ and flour tag. We had a blast! I love that park because its clean, there are swings (a rarity around here), there are a couple of tracks so the kids can ride their bikes all over, trees for shade in the middle of the day, two different size toys for small and big kids with soft wood chips, nice bowries, pretty clean bathrooms, a well cared for lawn, and its completely fenced in with only one small way to enter/exit...

The temperature was perfect, the hot dogs were tasty and my mom made her super yummy macaroni salad (sorry Tami). After we ate and the kids ran around and played on the toys for a bit, we played flour tag. Its basically freeze tag with flour balls (flour stuffed into cut up cheap nylons). The kids LOVED pelting us with the soft balls and watching us get dirty. I think the adults had fun too. We are definitely doing this activity again - anyone else want to play with us?

  2. So cute and what a great idea! I'm completely jealous about your park - did you read about the lovely playgarden on our block? Ugh. Congrats on such a fun FHE and the cute little belly I saw on your picture of the first day of school. Take care my dear friend!
