What a crazy, weird week. It seems like everything that has been swirling around in my head for the past few months is starting to spew out into our lives. For example, John graduated with his Master's from the University of Phoenix on Saturday. Neither of us knew this was going to happen until a couple of days prior. We had been praying about his job situation and different things and then he was able to contact a couple of people who gave him some brutal, yet helpful advise as to his accounting emphasis. Anyway he ended up dropping it, which made him eligible to walk on Saturday!
Because it was so unexpected and because he has to finish five more weeks of his last course, it seemed very surreal, yet exciting enough to make me realize that things are going to be very different (hopefully less hectic) in a few weeks! The girls and I are so very excited and ready to have John around a little more and to be able to yell and play and have lots of fun because daddy isn't going to be in the other room trying to get his homework done! No more long papers to correct, group projects or discussion questions... :)
But I am so proud of John!!!! I know a lot of you have been through graduate school with your spouses and you know how much time and work goes into it. He did amazingly well and I am super proud of him for setting his goals and having the ambition and determination to see that he accomplished them. John is one of the most motivated, hard working people I have ever met. Nice job babe!
Congratulations!!! That is so great. What a wonderful thing to have done, and be done with ;) Let us know if the girls can come play so you can get out to celebrate! You BOTH deserve it. Yeah!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It takes a lot to just finish a 4 year degree, so that's really awesome you're done with your masters. Suzi, you deserve a congratulations too because I am sure that it takes a lot to help and support him.
