Fun Morning

This morning I went to the doctor to confirm a little secret... John and I took the girls to the park by his work this afternoon for lunch and tried to let them in on it, but oddly enough Kylie absolutely did not believe John! She kept telling me, "Mom, dad is just teasing me," Then she said, Mom! You guys are teasing me - your belly isn't big enough to have a baby!" Five minutes later I had to go to the van to get the ultrasound picture to prove it to her!

I have to say I am still in denial myself. I'm only at 11 weeks and I had absolutely no intentions of telling anybody for as long as possible (my goal was to beat our last record of 17 weeks because I get some demented kick out of not letting anyone else in on the secret - is it sad that I can invent my own fun even if no one else gets it?), but unfortunately I gained a quick seven pounds that are completely unrelated to pregnancy and my floppy, weak mommy tummy muscles are a little misleading. Then I asked the neighbor if the girls could come over for a little bit while I went to the DR. and she completely caught me off guard and said, "oh, are you pregnant?" Due to lack of wit on my part, I fumbled a bit and admited to it. I am so weak.

I am so excited you are "pregynut the baby" you do realize you are about to be outnumbered right? Good luck with that. Your daughters are beautiful, that's great your having another kid.
