I've waited all Summer for this....

Maybe its sad that I have waited all Summer for one single thing - Spaghetti Squash! MMMMMMM! Does anyone really know why it can't be bottled or packaged and preserved somehow? Seriously, if they can reconstruct my son's heart and make it pump backwards, WHY ON EARTH can we not have spaghetti squash all year long?

My favorite harvest meal EVER (with or without the bacon - me da igual)...


Toasted tomato sandwich with mustard, a skiff of mayo, spinach and bacon

It was all grown in our garden - except the spinach, grapes, and bacon. Oh and the LOADS of salt I like to put on the buttery veggies (yay for low blood pressure). I even made the bread - YU-UM!

Oh, how I love spaghetti squash!! SO GOOD!

And you can come and make me a sandwich anytime you want. I really won't mind!
