Reflections

Kylie came home a couple of weeks ago and informed us that there was a reflections awards night that evening. I didn't think much of it. Her teachers had assigned the entire class to enter the contest and they drew their pictures at school, and I hadn't heard any more about it. I figured they must be putting the entries on display or something.

We were on our way to a wedding reception and Kylie kept talking about the reflections thing so we decided if it was that important to her we had better go walk through the display.... As it turns out they were having an awards ceremony and everyone who participated recieved an award - opa. Not only did we almost miss it, but I didn't even bring the camera! I made John run up with his iphone and get some snapshots of Kylie getting her award - I'll post them as soon as he puts them on the laptop!

Kylie's picture was GREAT! The theme was "Together We Can..." and Kylie's answer was "Together we can clean up litter!" Cute, isn't she!
