The second half of our vacation was AWESOME. John's parents took the entire family to Disneyland! The girls were at perfect ages and we had a B-L-A-S-T. I was a little worried, being pregnant-tired and all, that I wouldn't be able to keep up or ride any of the rides, but I felt GREAT most of the time and there were PLENTY of really cute things for Ammon and I to do. Oddly enough my favorite rides were in California Adventures.... The Toy Story ride, Heimlich's ride in bug land (because it was funny), and the 3D movie, "Its Tough to be a bug". I've never seen anything 3D before. I was seriously bummed that I couldn't ride the Screamin' roller coaster - SERIOUSLY. And I rode the Ferris wheel with the family - in one of the sliding cars and got sicker than I have ever been on any ride in my entire life. One more time around and I most definitely would have used that barf bag I was holding. I thought I was ruined for the rest of the day, alas after two hours I started to feel better. Searching for princesses and characters to sign the girls' books was a lot of fun (and tiring), and watching the kids have fun was super great!

John's favorite part was ...everything. The park was crazy busy all week so he liked to stay during the last couple of hours before closing when he didn't have to wait in as many lines. He took the girls on everything they would go on and loved it.

I asked Kylie what her favorite part of Disneyland was and her response was, "Definitely not the Ferris wheel, Pirates of the Caribbean or the Haunted Mansion!" She is sensitive to that kind of weird stuff and I think its a good thing. She said her favorites were The Tea Cups, Dumbo, meeting Princesses and fairies, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Autotopia, The Toy Story Ride, the swings, Go Gadget Coaster, Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain. She is not a hard core roller coaster enthusiast so it took quite a bit of talking and some trickery to get her on some of those rides, but she loved them.

Allie's favorites were Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, the Ferris wheel, Tower of Terror, meeting princesses, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the knighting ceremony at the Story time place behind the Princesses, bumper cars, World of Color, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Little Mermaid ride, the swings, the scavenger hunt, and the Toy Story ride. Allie LOVES roller coasters and anything scary. She was bummed that she wasn't tall enough for California Screamin' or Indiana Jones.

| It took me three days after her boutique appointment to convince Allie to let me take out the hairpiece. |
 |
| It took Allie three days to decide between the stuffed Disney babies. She finally picked Dumbo. The girls each saved quite a bit of money for the trip and bought all of their souvenirs themselves. |

| Dan and Amanda bought Allie ice cream for being brave enough to go on all the rides |
Ammon seemed to like everything, but especially the Teacups, the Ferris wheel, Winnie the Pooh, and anything with a steering wheel.
 |
| Ammon was fascinated by Pluto, particularly his whiskers and tongue |
 |
| Ammon didn't need his oxygen at all while we were at Disneyland. The first day he had it off, he kept putting his finger up his nose. |
 |
| Ammon kept following Baloo so they could dance together |
We also got to have lunch in Goofy's Kitchen to celebrate cousin Easton's first birthday. It was so worth it! We saw a lot of characters, the kids got to dance with them and the food was fantastic! I would definitely do that again.

We spent four pretty intense days from sun-up to sun-down (with a couple of naps in between) bouncing between the two parks and by the fifth day John and I were spent. We did some shopping, rode two rides and talked the girls into leaving early. We got stuck in California traffic on the way to Mesquite to meet up with the rest of the family and it took us eight hours to get there! Luckily the room was amazing and the pizza was hot!
I really can't even think of anything I would have done to make the vacation any better. Maybe go during school in September or something so the lines wouldn't be as crazy long, but other than that it was as perfect as I could have expected. We can't wait to go again!
K- Can I just say how impressed I am that you already have all of this blogged! You are UH-MAZING woman! It looks like it was an awesome trip and everyone had so much fun!!!
