A new school year

Here are the girls' "first day of school' photos for the year! Kylie is in Mrs. Shelley's second grade class and Allie is in Mrs. Hankin's kindergarten class. Kylie is extremely jealous because not only is Allie's cousin Audrey in her class, but also one of my best friend's daughters (Maddie Hadley) and a neighbor boy. Because we live in a weird-shaped ward there is only one other family who have kids that go to the same school as mine, and they are not the same ages so Kylie never has anyone she knows in her classes - pobresita :)

Allie made me take a picture of her hair. We have a friend who does a hair blog and Allie really wants to be on one! I told her I don't have the time or creativity to do one of those so posting a picture here and there on our blog is as good as its going to get :) This hairdo turned out MUCH better when we did it for church. The braids were smoother and rounded together, but I tried to do it with sopping wet hair for this picture and it didn't work as well...
