What a great camping trip! John got in from Wisconsin at around 9:30 pm. I had the trailer packed and we left by 10! It took us two hours to get there, but we spent the night in the parking lot at Franklin Basin. That campground was full so we found a quiet little spot at the bottom of the road that leads to Tony Grove. It was fun! I think it took the kids a while to get used to no electronics or cousins to play with, but once they did, they had a blast :) We found out that Ammon is completely fascinated with baseball :) (he's pretty good at it too!) We played games, Kylie and Allie played in the river (and "accidentally" fell in) and made "houses" in the weeds, John tried out his new grill for the Campchef, we went on walks, drives, went to Bear Lake for shakes, hiked the snow covered trail around the lake at Tony Grove (me in my flip flops), played in the hammock, Steve and Tara (and family) came up Sunday night for dinner and S'mores, had family home evening (with a lesson on mountains, temples and prayer), and ate yummy food :) These trips wear me out, but are so much fun :)
