Later...

LATER.... He perked up tonight! He looks SOOOO much better and is acting a ton better too! John stayed a little later with him and kept turning his oxygen down until he was on room air! Niiiice. It might not last long, but its a start and will help his body start to compensate a little at a time. The course of antibiotics they are running will last for several weeks because of his blood clot. They said the bacteria can get caught in that tissue and is tough to get rid of so they have to be careful. In that case, they will take blood every day and when his blood comes back negative for the bacteria they will put a pic line back in him and send him home.

That is the plan so far - I'll let you know how they change it tomorrow :)
