Field Day Tag Along/ Last Day of School

I LOVE that my daughter is only six an has no idea how embarrassing it is to take your mom to school with you :) Kylie's class went to the zoo on Wednesday and I felt super bad that I missed it. John went for me so I could go be with Ammon. Having to choose between my kids is crappy. Then I made her change her outfit becuase it didn't match and I told her she looked like a My Little Pony threw up on her. She told me that was rude and I told her she was right and I apologized. I'm glad she didn't notice that another little girl in her class was wearing the exact same colors I made her change out of. Some day when she is choosing pictures for her wedding video, she'll thank me. Anyway, to make up for missing the zoo, I thought I would go help with field day :) OK I really didn't help at all, I just followed them around and took a bunch of pictures. I may be a dorky mom, but I have some super cute pictures of my daughter! AND, in my defense, there WAS one other mom there.

This morning was Kylie's LAST DAY of school :) They sang a few songs for the parents and then had refreshments and handed out a collection of her best work :) She had a challenging year with me being in the hospital for six weeks and then adjusting to a baby brother (who has spent half of his almost six months in the hospital), but she has been so grounded and such a good sport. What an amazing little girl!
