There is something different about this picture. The first to notice what it is, wins! I'll give you a clue... We went to PCMC today for a post op with the CT Surgery team. It went great. Well, his x-ray and EKG went great so they skipped the echo. We are going to start him on his regular food on Friday and go back Monday for another x-ray to make sure his chylo has cleared up. If it has, they will adjust a few meds and leave us in the care of the pediatrician until the end of July. We're still working on getting insurance coverage for his helmet and then there's the little matter with his little matter.... but the urologist and a cardiac anesthesiologist will take care of that soon enough.
In other matters... I should post a picture of what our dining room looks like today, but I am too lazy to go down and take one - plus my camera battery is still charging. After I picked the kids up at my moms I brought them all here to slip and slide their way to exhaustion. I beat them too it. Ammon put me to sleep as I rocked him, so I put him to sleep and then took a nap while my mom watched the rest of the bunch. I woke up two hours later when Ammon woke up and the miracle cleaning fairy had paid me a visit. I have a vague recollection of seeing my mom come in my room and get my dirty clothes while I was sleeping and I'm pretty sure I told her to stop it and PUT THE LAUNDRY DOWN, but then my head hit the pillow with a loud thud and I don't remember anything else until I woke up to a living room that had been put back together, a sink with missing dirty dishes and clean laundry. THANKS MOM. I needed that. I would never have admitted that I needed that, but several days of not sleeping left me defenseless.
Has anyone guessed what is different with the picture yet? I am so excited!
He has no oxygen. That is awesome. I am glad to hear that is his doing so well.
