This past weekend was our city's Heritage Days. We caught up with SIL Tara for the parade last minute. I knew she would be there - she is always at the parades. I am not a parade person - BORING. I thought she loved them, but as it turns out, she just goes for the kids. What a great mom!
Then we went home for lunch and back to the park for the carnival. Our city is getting serious about their celebrations these days. The rides were actual RIDES. Ridiculously expensive, but the Fun Slides - well who doesn't like those? Actually - Kylie doesn't. She chickened out as soon as she got to the top and looked down. I had to hold her hand and pull her down. Isaac beat us all down and got quite a bit of air off of the bumps - cool kid.
The girls only had $3 left after their $10 limit and spent it on sugar. A snow cone and cotton candy - I can hear their teeth rotting out as I type. Who ever invented the toothbrush - and tooth paste - my dental insurance thanks you (my grandkids do too).
ANYWAY....John spent lots of time under the tree with Ammon - here are some cute pics...the parade, the rides and bouncers, the tree sitters, the fireworks (which Ammon LOVED) and our home made fireworks.
