Skipping the balloon

Just an update... They canceled the balloon/shunt. The cardiologist and surgeon met and reviewed Ammon's MRI yesterday and the surgeon suggested they patch the pulmonary artery during his Glenn (2nd surgery) on Thursday. Dr. P (cardiologist) had warned me that if the balloon and shunt didn't work, they would have to do it that way so I guess they decided it would probably have to be done eventually anyway. It will add some to the surgery, but at least it will be one less time they have to knock him out next week.

I thought this picture was super funny - he looks like he just got caught doing something he wasn't supposed to.
