The Big Day, part 1

This morning we started bright and early. We arrived at Primary Children's a little after 6 am. John and I were able to hold Ammon for awhile while as we waited for the surgeon and anesthesiologist to come and talk to us. It was basically a review and time to sign consent forms. We then followed them to the OR, gave him a kiss and watched them take him away. That wasn't fun.

We're spending the rest of the day in the waiting room :) They said they made the incision around 9:15 and will be out with updates every hour. I'll try to keep this updated as we go. This is going to be a loooong day......
