Day 4

Just a quick update... I was able to spend a couple of hours with Ammon yesterday - he looks so much better :) Still not ready for pictures - maybe next week after they close his chest back up. The cutest thing - when John or I start talking to him or to one of the nurses, he starts to wiggle his feet, and hands a little bit (they keep him partially paralyzed so he can barely move anything) and he tries to open his eyes! Its a great reminder that he's actually in there under all of that stuff.

More prayers...the baby in the bed next to ours - Mason - who has the same thing Ammon does, isn't doing well after his surgery. Right after they got him back to his room they had to open him up again. His family situation is very different from ours and he probably needs some prayers too :) If you want to include him in your thoughts, I bet it would help...

We are glad that Ammon is doing better.. We are continuing to pray for him! We will also add sweet little Mason in our prayers also.. Lots of love!
